After ten years as owner of Karen's Family Day Care in both Highland Park and East Brunswick, Karen B. Goldstein is excited to bring her child care and early childhood education expertise to Gan Yeladeem, The David H. Meyer Children's Center. Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Theater Arts from Douglass College and a soon-to-be completed Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kean University.
In addition to teaching a mixed age group of children, infants through pre-schoolers, in her Family Child Care business, Karen has also taught creative dance and high school English. Karen choreographs musicals for local high schools and the Temple, as well. Born and raised in Highland Park, Karen has been an active member of Anshe Emeth her entire life. She is also an active member of Central School PTA and the Elijiah Chapter of Jewish Women International. She is married to David Goldstein, an Automated Test Specialist for Dun & Bradstreet and a Theater Director on the side, and they have four children: Rachel, Sarah, Miriam, and Benjamin.
