Anshe Emeth Chavurah Program
A Chavurah is an intimate group of Jews who come together on a regular basis to experience and learn about Jewish living in creative ways. Chavurot are unique communities within-the-community, because they create a feeling of an extended family and allow you to celebrate Judaism with a small group whose interests are similar to your own.
If you have just joined Anshe Emeth or if you have been a member for years and want to become more involved, a Chavurah just might be the place for you! You can join an existing Chavurah or help to create a new one. Groups are forming now. Call Rabbi Fellman for more information.

Communities within the Community
Generation Alef
A Program of Community, Learning, and Action for Jews Ages 23-35
2007: Oct. 3, Nov.7, Dec. 5, Dec. 26
2008: Jan. 9, Jan. 18, Feb. 6, March 5, March 21, April 9, April 28, May 7, June 4
The Jewish communities of tomorrow will be built by the Jews in their 20’s and 30’s today. Anshe Emeth works diligently to make sure that our young Jewish adults have a community and place to learn and grow. Generation Alef is a group of exciting young Jewish adults participating in cultural, social and social action oriented events as a community. Generation Alef activities include Shabbat dinners, concerts, plays, films, travel opportunities and much more.
Generation Alef gathers the first Wednesday of each month for GOOD TIMES AND TORAH. Over drinks or a meal (or both!) we learn together, exploring Jewish texts, Jewish holidays and customs, and Jewish ideas. No syllabus, no exams, no course credit just the soulful enjoyment of coming together as a community to explore and celebrate together.
Do you know a young Jewish adult in the Anshe Emeth area who should be on our mailing list? Contact Rabbi Fellman for all the information, including special Temple membership information for eligible participants.
