L’Taken Seminar in Washington, D.C.November 30 December 3 The highlight of our AETY Calendar is our trip to the Religious Action Center in Washington, D.C. Together with hundreds of other Reform Jewish High School students from around the United Sates, we will participate in a hands-on program sponsored by the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. This 4 Day adventure will provide a great experience in the inner workings of our national government. We’ll learn Jewish views on major issues of the day, and then spend time lobbying our New Jersey Representatives and Senators. This trip includes:
We want every high school student at Anshe Emeth to have the experience of learning and voicing one’s views in Washington, D.C. This wonderful trip will provide the chance to see how our Jewish values can positively affect the problems facing our country. |

Anshe Emeth also supports two great junior youth groups, JAETY and MAETY. Each group has its own calendar filled with great programs. This year, Anshe Emeth is proud to welcome Jessica Gurtman as our new MAETY/JAETY advisor. Jessica comes to us with experience working with youth groups in New Jersey, as well as working professionally in the Jewish world at Behrman House Publishers. Please feel free to contact Jessica or Rabbi Fellman with any questions or for more information. JAETY JAETY (Junior Anshe Emeth Temple Youth) provides a fun welcoming youth group for our 7th and 8th graders. With special programming designed with our middle school aged students in mind, JAETY offers a great Jewish community and lots of good times! The highlight of this year’s JAETY Calendar is the JAETY Retreat, to be held February 1-3 at Camp Harlam. MAETY MAETY (Mini Anshe Emeth Temple Youth) creates a social bond for all of our 5th and 6th graders. Our calendar is filled with monthly fun gatherings that will help make MAETY the launching pad for a great Anshe Emeth youth experience!!
